International Student Applicants

The Fenn School welcomes international students to apply for admission. We offer a warm, welcoming environment and we believe our international students enrich our school with their different perspectives and experiences.

While our international student population is not large, Fenn has a long tradition of welcoming students from around the world. Fenn school is authorized under federal law to enroll nonimmigrant alien students.

There are two ways for international students to apply to Fenn:

  1. If the student will have a parent residing locally throughout their time at Fenn, the student may apply in the same manner as domestic students and may apply for all grades 4-9.

  2. If the student will not have a parent residing locally and the family is seeking a family homestay experience, Fenn has partnered with International Education Opportunities (IEO), and all application materials and questions can be sent to IEO by email.

IEO will collect all application materials, application fees, deposits and help schedule a Skype interview. Fenn will consider international students through this program for grades 7, 8, and 9. All financial questions should be directed to IEO, including application fees, deposits, tuition, and program costs.

Finally, for all international applications, one of the following standardized tests must be submitted with the application:  SSAT, ISEE or TOEFL Junior.

Note: There are additional fees for international students. Please contact the Interim Director of Admission and Financial Aid, Tory Hayes '02, to discuss directly.
